Written by Thorndike, Edward Lee; Translated by Lu Zhiwei, Published by The Commercial Press, Shanghai
1932
Originally titled “Education Psychology: Briefer course”, this book was written by the famous American psychologist, Edward Thorndike (1874-1949) and was translated by Chinese psychologist and linguist, Lu Zhiwei (1894-1970). The Government of the Republic of China incorporated psychology into the new curriculum when announcing the “Regulations in Higher Normal Education” in 1913.
