Note:

Wang Shaolun (1902-1982) attended Moscow Sun Yat-sen University in Soviet Russia and Waseda University in Japan. He also went to Germany to study philosophy and education. Upon his return from Germany, he worked at the State Education Department. Before the change of government in China in 1949, he went to Taiwan and Singapore, where he served as a professor at National Taiwan Normal University and the Department of Education of Nanyang University respectively.
