Merit trophy from the Sing Tao teenager programme's summer assignment exhibition (Chinese painting) (1966)
Descriptive
Sing Tao Daily recruited the first batch of members to the teenager programme in 1958. The programme welcomes youngsters aged over 12 to become a member and join their activities, such as trips, site visits, exhibitions and drawing competitions etc.

Logo on top: "星島報主辦暑期習作展覽會好少年之友提名 1966". Middle of the trophy: "國畫組" and from bottom right to left: "陸觀雄", "優異獎", "星島日晚報贈".
Metal trophy, yellow colouring on the logo. Words engraved with flatiron points.
