Plotted map of tracking Tropical Cyclone was one of the teaching aids of Rural Training College. It was made by Mr. Fung Hon-man in 1953. The plotted map was attached the instruction for use of anemoscope. Mr. Fung thought the Hone Kong citizens had misunderstood the information of tropical cyclone, so he had made the plotted map to teach the students of Rural Training College. When Hong Kong Observatory announced the tropical cyclone warning signal, students should listened to the radio and marked the track of Tropical Cyclone on the plotted map for learning. The graduates of Rural Training College had responsibility to teach the correct knowledge about tropical cyclone to village school's students.
