Rural Training College (RTC) was founded in 1946 and was originally located in the Fanling lodge of the then Hong Kong Governor, Sir Mark Aitchison Young. In 1948, the College moved to the Fanling Child-care Association that was loaned by a philanthropist, Mr. Aw Boon-haw. In 1949, the College was subsequently re-located to Cheung Yuen in Ping Shan, Yuen Long. The photo was taken in the Fanling lodge of the then Hong Kong Governor, right to left: Mr. Fung Hon-man (the teacher of RTC) and Mr. Wong Kwok-fong (Principal of RTC).
